Tessa has over 10 years’ experience in all aspects of family law, including complex property matters and high conflict parenting matters. Tessa is dedicated to achieving resolution for her clients, placing emphasis on a negotiated or mediated outcome where possible. Tessa also has extensive Court experience, both as a solicitor-advocate and instructing solicitor. Tessa joined Darwin Family Law in July 2022, after spending 13 years in private practice at Darwin’s largest law firm. Tessa is also an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner and registered mediator with the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators. She sits on the Family Law Committee of the Law Society NT and is a Commissioner for NT Legal Aid Commission. Outside of law, Tessa enjoys travel, camping, fishing and spending time in the garden.
